My style: You can have locally, nationally and internationally published, award winning photojournalist Bryan Mitchell document your wedding day. I have been a working photojournalist for 18 years and bring my honed, specialized photojournalism style of photography to your wedding day. I photograph weddings the same way I photographed news and features for newspapers and magazines. I simply tell the story with a straight-forward documentary approach capturing real moments, not staged photographs. I shoot only a few location portraits using the surroundings where you will be, with minimal lighting gear, using natural light whenever possible. I do these as quickly as possible, many times only taking 15-20 minutes. Weddings are wonderful and exciting events that should be photographed as they happen, as they flow. The photography should never be forced and the photographer should never be intrusive or start running the wedding. I make pictures that have meaning. My photographs capture the emotion between the bride & Groom, family, friends and loved ones. Real laughs, real smiles, real tears, REAL EMOTION! Want more information on wedding photojournalism?
